I wore a Dessy dress as a bridesmaid and had to get it taken in quite a bit, it was massive!

agree with poster, massive sizing, got both bridesmaids measured as size 8, when the dresses arrived, they were loose on me (a size 12) so they'll have to be taken in loads... I'd nearly order a size down..:)

Got them for my bridesmaids, I got the girls measured by the lady who would be doing alterations, and gave those details to the shop who then ordered the best size for each girl

    +1
got them measured in the shop, the dresses came marked "size 8" so that was fine, but the actual sizing when they put them on was just very big (almost like it was an american size 8 instead of UK!)

    think they are american sizes

    Hi there,

Does anyone know where is the best place to find black bridemaid dresses either in Dublin or online please?

Am looking for classy, elegant long length (nothing too fussy and maybe something that could be worn again to a black tie function)

Am sorry if this post has already been done -maybe should have checked they forum properly first!

    Thanks for your help:D

I have 3 brand new Dresscode bridesmaid dresses, bought in Arnotts. I bought them for 380euro last month but due to wedding drama we've decided to elope and get married abroad, hence we no longer need them. They have the tags on, receipt to prove date of purchase and still in their individual dress bags. They are full lenght chocolate brown taffeta material, beautifully made by this designer brand and sizes 8 10 and 14. I will sell them for 120each if taken together. must be seen!!:) Could also be worn for black tie or debs.
