Urgent: Hairdresser in Galway

    I was visiting family yesterday and booked to have highlights with the hairdresser several of my sisters use and who is excellent.

    Unfortuately I don't know what she looks like and someone else did my hair. I can live with the cut but the highlights are dreadful, think old fashioned bold streaks and you are on the right track.

    I need to get this fixed asap and didn't have enough faith in the girl to let her do it. I think whoever I go to will need to do more blended highlights either side of the current bold strips but know very little about this.

    I know there have been a number of threads on Galway hairdressers but many of those recommended are for cuts. Niamh at Presitige and the tall girl at Angel are the people I am considering at the moment. However as this is a rescue situation, can anyone say if there is someone in particular they would recommend. I can't make another mistake and can't hide under a hat in all summer!

    There is a girl in Lola and Belle and Salthill, did my hair last week (highlights) and did a very good job. I didn't get her name though, but I think there only are two hairdressers in there, and one is a guy..

    Hi all, bumping this message as I'm urgently looking for a hairdresser in Galway with a magic touch for highlights too! Had some disasters in the last year so really want to find someone good... and since I'm stranded at the moment (snow/ice making me work from home, *serious* cabin fever) what better time to be sitting under the foils to get the pre-christmas 'do!

    I've just moved back to Galway after being away for 5 years - I browsed previous threads but some of them are rather old, so any recent recommendations would be great - any place in Galway City, or even Salthill / Knocknacarra / Barna? I went to Barry's and Zenith a few years ago, I think Zenith has a specil offer on highlights at the mo.... anyone been to David Martin or Koztellos in Knocknacarra, or Richard Skelton (i think that's the name) on the Ballymoneen Road? Really appreciate any and all recommendations!
