Brilliant... half a billion lying around and no security. Realistically, lifting that should not be considered a punishable crime.

Probably like those job lots of t-shirts where you only want one but they come in packs of four so you buy them anyway cause it's cheaper than one single one in another shop.

    Where are the puns, people?

He'll never be able to sell them though.
Better off just robbing a bank.

Witnesses said the thieves just threw the paintings into the back of a Transit and sped off.

"Look at that Van Gogh.." they cried.

    Sorry :o:p

Significantly less than 500,000,000 is still more than what you'd get for most jobs tbh. I'd take it.

French police are hunting a thief who stole an original Picasso, Matisse, and three other paintings from the modern art museum in Paris.Officials say the paintings are worth half a billion euros (430 million pounds)..................The theft was discovered by employees at the Musee d'Art Moderne de la ville de Paris when they opened the museum on Thursday, and noticed that a window pane had been smashed.
Soulds like Lois Grifin is at it again

I'm no Art critic and I'm certainly no artist - but that is a pile of sh1t.

I don't care who you say it's by or what it's meant to represent, that is absolute muck, could draw it myself.

Welcome to the art world, where if the right person says you're great suddenly you are.

There's a lot of corruption involved. Was told by one person that they were asked for money by a critic in return for a good review no matter how crap the 'art'. It's essentially a pyramid scheme, money to critic = a good review = more people buying = higher prices = everybody wins as long as no one questions the people who 'understand' art.
