good day to all you airsofting experts.....

Anyone out there had any experience with rifled airsoft barrels or "twist" barrels as they have been called....

just a certain supplier is selling then for my fantastic VSR but i cant decide if the €70 price tag is worth it
(price is good but dont know if product any use just to clear that up :D )

Awaiting all your 2 cents , actually 3500 of them and i can buy a barrel and review it :D

Looks like they can only be used for AEGs etc under 1J which suits us perfectly..

    See below link discussing them

Is that a Classic Army one?
I have one as well..bought it here on boards..it has a KM tightbore but I'm thinking the rifled one would be the job :D
Have a quick look...was there a specific barrel for the M24?

yup the very same, works fantastic with pdi hop unit (redwolf and fire support has them) and the range is nuts. the stock CA hop unit isnt that good tbh. The barrel was worth the money. Ive seen them in aegs aswell and because of the barrel very little hop is needed

It came with PDI hop-up, Guarder cylinder head, systema hop-up bucking.
Haven't skirmished with it yet but soon enough :)
Do you have a link for the barrell? Had a look and they don't seem to have them :(

I plan to do a proper test when I have the money to spend on airsoft again.

Take a stock aeg and a selection of barrels, stock, 6.03, extended 6.03, TK Twist, extended TK Twist. Shoot a series of test groupings with each setup noting things like hop settings, max range (mostly about the groupings though). Also maybe try with .2 and .25 BBs in each.

Record it all and stick it on yewchoob.

i originally had an m16 lenght twist barrel in my m4,range was good but i was expecting more,so i put in an m4 lenght twist barrel into the same gun and it well out ranged the madbull tightbore :)

Used a twist barrel in my KWA M4 for the first time at Sennybridge and I was getting spectacular range and accuracy. I'll have to see if I can figure out from one of the mpas what that range might have been but it was beyond what I was expecting.
    Absolutely recommend them.
