Just saw an ad in the paper for 24 bottles of Corona for €14.99 in Dunnes. Works out at 62c per bottle. Not a fan of the stuff myself but know a lot of people like it. Never really see Corona for much less than a euro a bottle even on special so seems like a good deal

Hard to tell from the picture, but trying to look closely, i'm pretty sure that says 21cl. Can that be right? 210ml bottles - i didn't know they existed

210ml, about 2 good sips, still it all goes down the same :D

Works out at €2.97 a litre that way as oppose to €3.03 a litre when it's €11.99 for 12x330ml. With the extra limes involved it would probably be more cost effective to drink the 330ml or pour your 210ml into a bigger bottle.

The Tiger Beer is still cheap!

The box of Tiger for €15 looks like a better deal. Lovely drink for a lager.

I remember i was in Canada last year and the 210ml Corona's are quite popular for the ladies and light drinkers (both of which I am not) Anyways i saw 6 packs of Corona for $4, I was delighted so bought 4 of them for the night. Got back to the house and opened one up. Didnt realise until i was about half way through the bottle.
Wasnt impressed as i had 18 bottles finished by about 11pm.

If you didn't notice the bottles were almost half the normal size until half-way through, you either have bad eyesight or massive hands! :D

Why,oh why would they sell them in this country?
I can understand perhaps in a country with a warmer climate and the smaller bottle makes sure your beer stays cooler and fresher, but no need in this country.

    Well,apart from today perhaps :p

Yeah, close enough there. When Spanish speaking people are referring to kids they'll often add 'ito' (for a boy) or 'ita' (for a girl) at the end of their name. It means 'little' or whatever. So you have Juanito (little John, or Johnny), who grows up to be just plain old Juan.

Although sometimes these people will get referred to by this name all their lives. Same in Portuguese i believe but with 'inho' at the end, i.e Ronaldinho.

So, to cut a long story short, these are not knock offs, just little Corona's. It gets an 'ita' as beer (cerveza) is a feminine word.

To be fair they do (as they are obliged to as far as I know?) quote enough information to work out the price per litre so that consumers can make informed buying decisions if they just pay attention.

Yeah i know but still, that text is usually quite small...I know its still cheap but people will be thinking they are getting regular sized bottles. Not all people out there are as attentative as we are.

Besides the 210ml have never been seen in Ireland so people dont expect them!

None in Dunnes express, Dundalk yesterday either, spoke to manager. He said they were gone literally as they put them on the floor. He has requested more but isn't optimistic of getting them
