    Hi,

I am thinking about getting new blinds around the house. I have decided on 100% blackout for the bedrooms but I am thinking more of a 50% blackout blind for my main tv room. Do they exist? Has anyone any experiences with 50% blackout roller blinds?

Also if you could recommend someone to buy from?

    Thanks,

    Branners

    Hi Branners,

I've never seen 50% blackout blinds, but to be honest why would you bother with 50%, why not go for full blackout or not at all. Douglas Blinds on Camden St are very good.

    Hi Joanne,

thanks for the reply! The TV room is at the front of the house and gets the sun at around 7pm. I would like to pull the blinds to keep the sun out but not blacken out the room entirely.

I also have a projector which is superb at night but on bright days the really bright sun can ruin the image so I would love to be able to darken the room down!

    Thanks again!
