    Hi Emelio,

Cliften won't be too high on towns to have your stag in. However it does have a great golf course 20 minutes away in Ballyconneely. http://www.connemaragolflinks.com/golf-course-guide

    Lots of fishing, example http://www.irelandadventures.com/activity.php?id=231

Station house hotel is a fine hotel http://www.clifdenstationhouse.com/
    lots for B&B and hostels.

Pubs are okay during the weekend, four of five good bars, but I've not been out in cliften in years, I've not been to the nightclub either think it's called Nimo's.

Keep an open mind, Westpost is more of a Stag town.

Ye could go sea fishing from Galway and then hit the town afterwards. It's supposed to be a great day out, beer and BBQ on the boat and you get to keep some of the fish. There won't be much for 20 lads outside of Galway, I wouldn't recommend 20 rowdy lads heading into a small town, it could end badly.

I haven't done it myself so don't know anyone. There's a few that do it though.

Had my own stag in Clifden a couple of years ago – perfect spot and not thronged with other stag and hen parties like the more popular places (e.g. Westport ). Plenty of good pubs and accommodation. We stayed in the stationhouse (about 20 of us too), no problems at all. During the day we took a couple of rib boats out to Inishbofin – definitely recommend it for the boat trip alone, they really hit some speed (nearly 40 knots). These are the guys we booked the boats with… http://www.discoverireland.ie/Search-Results/Details.aspx?touristItemID=76997

yeah why not Clifden. Its small and there's plenty of pubs, b&b's etc.

It depends on how rowdy you expect to get really?

Station house hotel in Clifden is a good place for a stag party to stay, but there are loads of less expensive b&bs as well. A number of pubs(they handle huge parties during the Clifden Connemara show and during various other summer events-a 20 person stag shouldn't be an issue for them), a niteclub, lots of decent restaurants. There is horse riding in Cleggan(if the tide is out, you can ride across Omey beach to the island) just a few minutes from Clifden, a golf course in Ballyconneely, deep sea fishing, and loads and loads of places to go walking.
