It's been a long time since I was on a mobile home holiday and I need help putting together a checklist of things to bring with us.

    Bed Linen

    Towels

    Iron

    Washing up Liquid

    Tea Towels

    Roll of J-Cloths

    Hairdryer

    Matches(assuming cooker is gas)

    Bathroom Soap

    Bin Liners

Our own cutlery(OH is funny about that thing)

Anything else I may not be thinking of that I will kick myself If I forget. I don't want to be visiting a Carrefour to be buying anything else.

Memories - it's been a while since I packed for a caravanning holiday but here goes:

For driving in France you need a load of stuff for the car - spare bulbs, triangle, etc

    For the mobile/hoilday:

Torch, Laptop (wifi wasn't around in my day :)), cord/twine for a clothes line, fleeces, deck of cards, games, books, medicines (for burns, insect bites, pain killers), sun lotions, mobile phone chargers, mains extn lead, power adapters, Tea bags (you cant get decent tea abroad), reflective jacket, awnings (if your using one) wind shield (the ones for the beach), sun brolly, DIY kit ( a few tools, screws, glue, etc) cool box, termos, camera/camcorder, hats.

    There's probably more

Almost forgot a corkscrew for the vino and maybe BBQ equipment. Gloves, ruber and a pair of gardening gloves can be handy.

Although I assume the mobile home will have a corkscrew we will bring it anyway. The 2nd campsite is wooded so not BBQ's but I might befriend a neighbour and invite myself to his BBQ. Im on holidays.

I like to do a bit of cooking on my hols so I usually bring a couple of sharp knives and a chopping board as I never find the ones supplied to be adequate. I usually buy some kitchen gadgets in France too.

Loo rolls (French ones are dreadful)
    Kitchen paper
Chopping board, knife, own frying pan, decent teatowels that actually soak up, not repel water. Some dishwasher tablets. Corkscrew. Mending kit. Disinfectant wipes. Facecloths

Laptop & media hard drive for evenings at home watching a movie/tv show if the weather is pants. Books & mags. Sunscreen. Table tennis bats & balls. Adaptor plugs x loads. Half used bottles of toiletries so you can use them up & bin them before you leave (more room for booze y'see :D )

Definately don't forget the loo rolls, as there were none in our mobile last year.

A soap dispencer for the kitchen as well as the bathroom is also handy.

We used small bin liners and disposed of them every day or second day, might help against drawing nasties around.

as regards the car breakdown kit, also have a hi vis vest as friends have told me before that they are strict over there for that stuff!

We stayed in a mobile home and didn't need to bring a thing! We got linen, towels etc. And it was very well stocked - they should have an inventory on their website or booking from.
All the other accoutrements you'll be able to get (cheaper) in France.
