The Skoda website isn't very clear, but what sort of money is currently being charged for a new Octavia TDi on Scrappage? And what is the 1.6TDi like?

    Thanks

    Sham ;)

20k is way to high, even for the elegance model unless there were a load of extras. I ordered a 1.6tdi Ambiente, the mid range spec, for 17.5k. The Elegance is only about 1200 extra ao max price should be 19k. Two different dealers I spoke to mentioned something about a price increase from the manufacturer, but the dealer said that my price included it.

I would say shop around though, the first garage I went to quoted me 19.4k for the exact same spec I ended up getting for 2k cheaper. The only problem is it seems to be taking three to four months from order to delivery. I ordered over a month ago and don't have a build date or expected delivery date. I'm hoping to get it mid July, but if that was pushed out a few weeks i would risk losing the scrappage rebate.

Considering he's trying to advertise against buying an octavia, that should be a permaban IMO
