    There was a post made in politics forum about this meeting, it got moved to conspiracy theories.

    Media never report bilderburg or trilateral commission meetings but that only adds to the mystery of what its attendees discuss.

    Their purpose is too far fetched to be widely accepted.

    No, not at all. Just an extremely influential group of people from all over the world meeting for a chat in Dublin. Brian Cowen even turned up to give a short opening speech but was not invited to attend the actual meeting. Do you not find it odd that you never heard about, that there wasn't even a passing mention of it on the news?

    I did hear about it.

    So not that odd at all. What was decided at this meeting that meant it should have been on the main evening news? Was it something more pressing that the major oil spill, the volcanic ash, the economic struggles of the country, the teenager's body that was found in the bog?

    Cause I can list off several meetings that went on that day that I have no idea what went on at.
