I've just had a friend jailbreak my iPhone for me and he gave it back to me having installed Cydia and said that I would have to download Diskaid on my pc and away I go! Can someone explain to me what the above programmes are/do and if there's anything elseI need to know or do as I'm honestly not great with this kind of stuff! Also any must-have apps? Thanks

Disk aid can transfer system files to and from iPod, 'cause iTunes only let's you transfer apps, music and photos. Unless your beta testing or doing something really specialized you don't really need it. Cydia lets you install apps that weren't allowed into the app store, like lockdown (which can number lock specific apps) SBsettings (which allows you to toggle all the settings in your springboard.) Also there are better programmes than diskaid, like iPhone Explorer or iFunbox.
