hi , im thinking if using these is a few rooms living, kitchen, bedroom on sealings and external walls .

i have priced 36mm for 24 euro including fixings 12 per slab .

will the expense and hassle be worth it .

im also thinking of getting the cavities filled ,i have a 100mm with 60mm insulation ,any one know how much a sqm for 40mm of blow in insulation .

i have heard that those type of slabs need to be installed by someone who knows what they are at, something to moving the dew point to inside the house instead of keeping the dew point in the cavity.

just woundering why you used the 60mm at all, could you not have just pumped the cavity completely?

Ive heard of them slabs showing cracks after a while like you would see on the celing. i think with 100mm of insul in cavity and proper job done in the attic would be very good, couldnt really see the advantge of the wall slab as heat rises. just my opinion

i built the house about 9 years ago , at the time that was standard .

going to pump the walls and slap the cellings .

Sounds like alot of hassle for a house that young- Do you have particular problems with the build quality? ie the existing insulation.

More information about the existing problem might allow people offer better help for example -Is it possible to put in extra attic insulation instead of putting an insulated slab on the ceilings. This would be less labour, less expensive and less messy.
