Galway running track

Quick question; heading to Galway overnight tonight and need to get my track-session in. Anybody know if there is a track within 2 miles of the Galway Bay Hotel Salthill. Many thanks.

There is a track in NUIG in Dangan.

Just found this myself in 'highfield park' (Westside), looks like a track from Google maps Satellite view but can't tell if it has a proper surface or not or whether I'd do myself an injury. Can any Galwegians put me straight ... thanks

It's 3 km or so out the Clifden road.

Be aware that clubs often book it out in the evenings. There is an old cinder track around the nearby hockeypitches if you want to do some speedwork but no markings.

No. Drag north from there and you will see the red rubber one.
