    Bran was with his owners until they decided (I can only presume) that Homeward Bound was taking too long finding him a home, so THEY DUMPED HIM. He is now straying and starving in Ballymoreustace, Kildare, 10 miles from his original home, and has been sighted many times. He's lost weight, is terrified of anyone getting near him, and so he can't be caught... Please, please keep an eye out for Bran, and leave food out for him if you see him. If anyone is able to catch Bran please do so and let Shirley know- She'll leave Shannon straightaway to come get him. A kind Homeward Bound foster carer has offered Bran a permanent home if he can be caught.
    Bran is a gentle fella, there is no aggression at all in him, but understand that he is hungry and scared and has no good reason to trust a human, so only approach him if you are experienced with dogs.

    UPDATE
    Bran was seen in Blessington yesterday evening and was almost caught but shied away as the lead went over his head – but at least he had some food.
