I'm not a techie so here goes... The job has given me two iPhones over the past two years - both 16GB. One is 3G and the other is 3GS.. (How do I tell the difference? and What is the difference??).
Anyway, in Feb 2010, the job changed from O2 to Vodaphone and they gave me a Nokia 6302 Classic which is OK but I miss my iPhone... I can get a Vodaphone iPhone for €250, so I need to sell my old iPhones (prolly on eBay).
How much are they worth? Should I get them 'unlocked' ? How much will it cost? What is 'jailbroken'? How much does this cost?
    Any help would be appreciated...

Easy way to tell difference 3g doesn't have a video recorder .
Jailbreaking don't cost anything, sell them on adverts.ie sister site of boards.
Jailbreaking basically let you do all the stuff apple won't let you like themes . But you need to jailbreak to unlock .
Post what firmware your iPhones are running . Setting/genera/about

    look at the back,

where it says iphone and disk size

    the 3g is grey
the 3gs is the same colour as the apple logo,

I'm looking for a 3g atm, so i would give you a couple of bucks for it.

Oh yeah, and you can probably unlock them, if you never updated them, I could help you out with that for a discount on the 3g :P

I just want to try android
