    Hi there
How would someone go about finding a decent/reputable but also experienced solicitor and barrister for a family law case current proceeding in the Circuit Court in Dublin
(by proceeding I mean that the defendant has recieved notice of proceedings but summons have not been issued yet)

Is there a directory of solicitors who specialise in family law in Dublin or would you rely on your local solicitor to find one for you or would you try & get one yourself??
And presumably the solicitor will locate & hire (if that's the right word) the barrister for the case????

And how would you know if the person you are engaging is actually good at what they do???

The Bar here is an independent referral Bar. Your solicitor will give you options as to whom the best Counsel is for a given case.

I think OP is really asking how to find a good Family Law Solicitor, who would in turn brief the appropriately skilled barrister. Could be wrong though!?
