NBC have announced their Fall Schedule...

NBC FALL 2010 SCHEDULE *New programs in UPPER CASE; all times ET
    MONDAY
    8-9 p.m. - "Chuck"
    9-10 p.m. - "THE EVENT"
    10-11 p.m. - "CHASE"
    TUESDAY
    8-10 p.m. - "The Biggest Loser"
    10-11 p.m. - "Parenthood"
    WEDNESDAY
    8-9 p.m. - "UNDERCOVERS"
    9-10 p.m. - "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit"
    10-11 p.m. - "LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES"
    THURSDAY
    8- 8:30 p.m. - "Community"
    8:30-9 p.m. - "30 Rock"
    9-9:30 p.m. - "The Office"
    9:30-10 p.m. - "OUTSOURCED"
    10-11 p.m. - "LOVE BITES"
    FRIDAY
8-9 p.m. - "Who Do You Think You Are?"/"SCHOOL PRIDE"
    9-10 p.m. - "Dateline NBC"
    10-11 p.m. - "OUTLAW"
    SATURDAY
    Encore programming
    SUNDAY
    7- 8:15 p.m. -- "Football Night in America"
8:15-11:30 p.m. -- "NBC Sunday Night Football" SUNDAY (beginning March 2011)
    7-8 p.m. - "Dateline NBC"
    8-9 p.m. - "Minute to Win It"
    9-11 p.m. - "The Celebrity Apprentice"

No major surprises there really... I thought they might have paired Chuck and Undercovers at 8 and 9 pm on Mondays respectively, and then that The Event would be on Tuesdays at 10 pm and Parenthood on Wednesdays at 8pm, but apart from that it all seems fairly similar to what they had this year, which shows there not trying to make a play to be the #1 network, they just want to do better than last year...
Outlaw in the deathslot is a bit of a shocker...

My early predictions looking at that schedule is that Chase, Parenthood, Love Bites and Outlaw won't make it past next year... I've no real reasons for these predictions... It's just a hunch...

Very uninspired, from the new pickups nothing apart from undercovers interests me, i'll be very surprised if the network changes its fortune(or lack of one) any time soon.

Didn't see The Cape on there... that's one I'm quite interested in. Summer Glau...... yum

its coming midseason, and yeahhh im somewhat interested in it(well compared to alot of the crap they have)

since its not in the OP here's the midseason new shows:

    The Cape:
Officer Vince Faraday was a good cop trying to clean up a corrupt city when he was framed for murder, left for dead, separated from his wife and son and forced into hiding.

    Friends with Benefits:
A comedy set in Chicago about five single friends who turn to each other for moral and sometimes physical support, as they mine the dating world looking for The One.

    Perfect Couples:
There's no such thing as the perfect couple - even though it might look that way, behind closed doors it's a whole different story. This new comedy is about three couples trying to keep the spark alive.

    Harry's Law:
Three of the most unlikely people start a law practice in the most unlikely of places - a rundown shoe store. Imagine the walk-in clientele.(seriously nbc ?)

so yeah a total crapshoot, only saved by the cape

Friends with Benefits sounds like another crappy attempt to capitalise on the success of How I Met Your Mother. :(

which was capitalising on the success of Friends :D

as long as NBC keep making 30 rock, i'm happy though season 4 has dipped a bit in quality. bit of hit & miss imo

The Cape....only thing (new) worth watching, kinda Watchmen/Kick-Ass/Defendor type deal me thinks.

Greg Grunberg has joined the cast of Love Bites now that Heroes is toast. That guy seems to jump seamlessly from show to show, no longer relying on his buddy JJ Abrams for a leg up! I'm still expecting him to appear on Lost next Sunday.

Hoping that Undercovers will be good.

Unfortunately, I watched just three previews from the above link ('Undercovers', 'The Cape', 'The Event') and while none of them were mindblowing, 'Undercovers' probably came across the worst - it just looked unbelievably tired and hackneyed! *

    * and it pains me to say that as a massive JJ Abrams fan!

Not another Summer Glau fanboy.. yourself and Richard Dower must be best of buds! :D

It's looks darker than I had imagined.. I remember reading it on paper and it made it sound quite fluffy.. doesn't look like it there.

It does look very daft alright.

'The Event' just looks all together familiar... Jericho mixed with Flashforward mixed with a dozen other shows.

i think it's been proved that unoriginal drama seems to get higher ratings, look at V! FlashForward (original concept) should have bet V (concept done to death) in the ratings but it didn't.

i'm not that big of a Glau boy, but i think she's a good actress, and want to see more of her (both on TV and elsewhere ;):D)
Note to self: befriend Richard Dower :D

The Cape definately looks the best of those pilot presentations!....it's my kinda genre show!

So far, between the pickups NBC, Fox and CBS have made, there doesn't seem to be anything spectacular, but the NBC ones seem the best so far... Hopefully ABC's announcements tomorrow will change things - rumour is they're gonna have a second comedy night, so that could be good...

I wouldn't watch any of those shows.

Bring back My Name Is Earl :D

Bring back My Name Is Earl :D

Greg Garcia (My Name Is Earl) created has had his new show picked up this year, although I can't quite remember which one it is - could be one of the Fox comedies... It's Fox or NBC anyway... Or maybe ABC...

Flash Forward may have been an original concept, but it suffered from some incredibly poor writing, acting and generally being annoying. Convoluting the story by twisting a twist, and then twisting it again, for each character, makes it daft and difficult to follow. Good riddance.

The Event looks a bit interesting. Something to do with time travel? Could easily turn into a convoluted mess like Flash Forward (and Lost) though.

Chase, I could take or leave. Probably leave, as it reminds me of In Plain Sight for some reason, which was terrible beyond words.

Outlaw, meh. That is all. Didn't the trailer for this and Chase give away the ending of both pilots though? What's the point in that?

The Cape looks about the only strong one there.

Didn't watch any others. I'll wait till they actually start, and see what the general consensus is.
