Apparently reports have been flooding in on twitter of strange lighting in the skies above LA, similar lighting effects to the pre-Haiti earthquake. Also reports of animals acting strangely which im told is commonplace before an earthquake strikes. What do people think?

Still haven't heard 1 explanation how it causes Earthquakes.

    Since when is that relevant?

So basically something that has happened since the dawn of time is down to HAARP.

Or maybe it has the ability to puncher the space time continuum and it has caused every earthquake everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm never surprised by the twists and turns of a ct but I really wasn't expecting that a weather control device that can't be shown to work on weather was now responsible for earthquakes. Seriously you may as well say the tooth fairy did it.

San Fran plate is due a big earthquake soon as it hasn't had one in years and there is alot of tension built up between the plates.

This is something which has been predicted by seismic models and has nothing to do with an antenna array in Alaska.

Earthquake lights are also something which is also acknowledged as a natural and unexplained phenomenon by the scientific community.
Earthquake lights are caused by an unknown mechanism. There are numerous theories as to how and why they occur.
One explanation involves intense electric fields created piezoelectrically by tectonic movements of rocks containing quartz[6].
Another possible explanation is local disruption of the Earth's magnetic field and/or ionosphere in the region of tectonic stress, resulting in the observed glow effects either from ionospheric radiative recombination at lower altitudes and greater atmospheric pressure or as aurora. However, the effect is clearly not pronounced or notably observed at all earthquake events and is yet to be directly experimentally verified.[7]
There is also debate in the scientific community regarding radon as a possible precursor to some earthquakes [8], so another theory is that glowing clouds might be light emission produced by ionization or plasma-chemical reactions[9]

What possible reason has anyone put forward as to why HAARP has any involvement in it??

if there are actually a lot of similar reports of this stuff on twitter i think it's potentially very interesting, especially if it's followed by an earthquake

and if it isnt followed by a quake ( how long are we supposed to wait)
does that mean haarp is not responsible for quakes????

and why would they attack la with haarp?

Can we get data on how often earthquakes of any magnitude (or say, greater than Richter 1) occur in Southern California?

An earthquake, that has been predicted by seismology models?

    or a HAARP induced(somehow?) one?

    Alot.

Predicting that a Earthquake is going to hit California is like saying it will rain in Ireland in the next fortnight.

i had never thought of twitter as a channel for this kind of stuff but it is fascinating to me and I'm taking notice now. yes, it seems there were people predicting earthquakes.
this feed on twitter is interesting
    http://twitter.com/quakeprediction

    from their site:
"The main method we use to make our earthquake forecasts is based on thermal temperature changes caused by frictional heating of the tectonic plates.

    Here are a few other methods we have tried listed below;

    Moon phases
    Animal behaviour
    Human behaviour
    Micro earthquakes
    Seismic gaps
    Thermal temperature changes
    Satellite earthquake clouds
ULF or Ultra Low Frequency sounds
    Water temperature changes"

it has to be said though that there were several other earthquakes in california in the days preceding this one.

however, there is a tweet in the same feed of "possible earthquake clouds in LA" from may 13th, which is followed by a report of a quake, in LA, a day later. From what I'd gathered the earthquake clouds idea isn't been universally accepted, so of course it's interesting when someone points to them before the fact on the record, and they are followed by earthquakes.

certainly something i want to learn more about now.
