    Hi,
this is my first post on boards! Im sorry if this has been covered but I couldnt find exactly what I need to know.

basically I need to have 3 wisdom teeth out. One on the bottom & 2 impacted on the top. My dentist has referred me to a clinic to have them out under sedation. I am with first plan VHI. I had to pay 150 for the consultation last week & when I have them out I have to pay 100 for a check up. When I rang VHI they said I was only 60% covered for the procedure. So say if it costs 2000 to have them out, is it 60% of that or is the 250 I have to pay for consultations all I will have to pay? The lady in VHI couldnt answer this & the clinic is closed until next wednesday. I cant afford to pay 60% of 2000. Where do I stand on this? sorry but I need these out & Im worried about the costs.

    Thanks.
