Getting into the Dollar

Could anyone tell me what would be the best way fro the man on the street to invest in the dollar or buy dollars.

been doing alot of reading and alot of shrewdies seem to be saying we are heading towards parity. anyway id be greatful if people could advise of options (both cheapest and easiest)

The first thing you should note is there is risk involved, so there are no 100% bets.

Spread betting could be a quick way for you to do this and you can take an outright position on the dollar that way.

Holding US denominated assets (US equities or bonds) is another way. A bit of a double edged sword here as the actual assets may rise or fall in value and increase your gains or losses.

Be aware of the risks though. Currency trading is viewed as one of the more difficult assets to trade.
