A remap will probably give you about 30 - 40 bhp. If you change the air flow set-up etc... you might be able to squeeze out up to 60 bhp. I've heard that some meet can get 100 bhp out of it by uprating the turbo, clutch system and exhaust system.

I wouldnt advise going that high on power. 40bhp is enough on a car that old. Youll only wreck it uprateing it to 200bhp.

If you are in Dublin or the surrounding area. Ring Chipped Ireland. They are in tallaght and really good with the Vw Pd engines.

They got around 160 out of a mates 130. It really doesnt effect mpg either. It doesnt go up but it doesnt go down. Its just more power! Obviously with the extra wear and tear on the car.

I would say go for it. Its well worth it.

The price is around 300-350 if I remember correctly.
