A lot of bad feedback from this seller, although it is an outlet...

Have ordered off them 5 or 6 times and no problems to date.

Delivery takes around 10 working days.

In fact during the ash crisis I had an item on order for £12 and they refunded the price in full and still delivered as a gesture of good will, even though i had no issue.

God damn it I was not broke/unemployed because I'd like a few of these for my upcoming holidays.

If somebody can find a similar seller of REAL Ralph Lauren then send it my way.

Our Tommy Hilfiger stores in Ireland are a joke. 50% off and the thing is still €45. Joke!

I was in the Tommy/Ralph/ETC outlet stores in the US and you can spend Pennys money and come home with a luxury wardrobe FFS.

I love these rose tinted comparisons with USA outlets.

#1 - Clothing in USA has sales tax of up to 13% added at the till
#2 - Brands such as hilfiger / lauren make the majority of their clothing for usa markets in china, For europe it is primarily tunisia / morocco.
#3 To comapre prices, compare like with like. Compare hilfiger prices in dublin with hilfiger standard stores in usa - very little price difference these days when sales tax is taken into account.
#4 Ralph lauren polos available for €34.99 in ralph lauren store in kildare village outlet. - price in usa outlets (las vegas April 14th 2010) are $39.99 + sales tax. Price difference is less than 10%

Extremely misleading and incorrect statement by cotwold. This seller's feedback score is 98.9% which is pretty darn good for a power seller.

Get over yourself, theres 71 counts of negative feedback in the past month. Anyone can have a look at the feedback and make up their on mind.

The sharp increase in poor results is probably connected to the volcano and i asserted their trust worthiness by the fact they're an outlet. nothing i said was misleading.

You do realise that it's TheHut Group selling these? http://thehut.co.uk . They're one of the largest online retailers. Find it funny how people are questioning the legitimacy of them!

Not one person questioned the legitimacy of them.

One person questioned their feedback score of late, which is explained by the Ash crisis.

#3 A Tommy Hilfiger Deinm Hoodie that cost €130, and the exact same thing was purchased online from tommy.com for $66.66 with shipping ($13.95) with tax to a New York Address! It cost me something like €60 in total (including shipping to Ireland). €70 of a difference for the exact same thing! This country is a joke!

They're hardly rose tinted comparisons especially when you've been
to some of these outlets like woodbury.
You will pay at least twice as much here for most designer
stuff and sometimes even more than that and in the sales
there you can pick up designer stuff for a fraction of
the price compared to a so called sale price here.

This country is a joke but things are improving and you don't
tend to get ripped off here to the extent you would a few
years ago and of course people are getting wiser

this is more realistic when comparing like with like
anyone whos been to the states will recognise this

How about rose tinted comparisons with European outlets? Germany for example? If they're produced in Morocco I can't see how the distance difference is going to be that great as they'll probably be shipped by boat for most of the journey.

Even with the different VAT rate, a number of retailers are profiteering.

It's not fair to compare the prices in outlet shops to normal retail shops. The items on sale in the outlets are discounted as they are overstocks or last season

If you want to buy items in a Tommy outlet, the nearest one to Dublin is in Chesire Oaks

    that's a fair point
the problem with me is that i wouldnt know one season
    from the next.
you still can't compare the prices of retail shops in the us
to retail shops here though imo

You talking about the emblem on the front? It's supposed to look a little torn - they'd probably call it "destressed".

I ordered two. They weren't damaged, but they are a little small!

got mine yesterday , too small ! , got a large , but it is really more of a medium , my friend is delighted with it though , great looking top though.

Yeah going fast too 260 sold so far.

Less choice than the last time though but still excellent value, my last order in 'L' was perfect for a Hilfiger 'L' so not sure of the other size issues above.

There are some of these back in stock on the ebay lifestyle_hut page , choice of 8 or 9 polo's.

    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/lifestylehut

bit more expensive that before , works out now about €24 incl delivery.

They also have Abercrombie jumpers on the ebay daily deal at about €25 , didnt bother posting that because of all the flaming that would follow !
