i remember this happening to my sisters corolla and a bit of wd40 into the keyhole did the job but maybe yours has a different problem. either way it should be a simple enough job with no central locking involved

thanks steve the key is turning the lock and everything behind it is connected ,but it wount lock or unlock ,there is central locking but not remote
