Cost of suits in Spain

    Not sure if this I the right place to post but.....

    I need a new suit. I am going to Spain next month and I was wondering would I be able to get a good one out there for cheaper than I'd pay in Ireland?

    Spanish style of suits isn´t great to be honest. I wouldn´t buy one there. Italy yes, Spain no.

    Where in spain are you going , if you are headed to a big city Madrid , barcalena , valencia etc then you should have dedicated suit shops.
    If your just goin to smaller towns and tourist areas then save your money and get a good suit here.

    I only own one suit but i bought it here and went to specialist mens wear shop and got measured properly and if anythin needed to be taken in or up they could do it there .
    In a suit you wanna feel good , its worth the few extra quid spent here .

    Normal suits can be anywhere from maybe €80 in Zara to 200-300 in El Corte Ingles. 'Designer' suits (Hugo Boss, Zenga etc) vary from 600-2,000 in El Corte Ingles, I'm not sure how that compares to Ireland. There is also an Outlet village outside Madrid (20mins by train, owned by the same people who own the one in Kildare) with various outlet stores where you'll get them at around 400, and the more you buy the larger the discout you get is. Handy if you're looking for some suits and a few shirts.
