Whats the best format, resolution etc to encode stuff to for viewing on the native video player with the best quality. I presume 720p re-encoded down to 800x480 h.264 mp4 is the way to go? Whats decent software for doing this, and what soundtrack formats does it support? Thanks a mil, Inq

Theres a program I use called handbrake thats good for this: http://handbrake.fr/

It works on windows, mac and linux.
