They don't make that easy to read, do they...from what I could make out (squinting at the screen) looks like there will be some improvements to the EPG for UPC branded boxes.

It is difficult to read alright. The new EPG looks nice, does it say when it'll be released?

According to fusion booklet with this month's bill, it says that the new screens will be introduced over the coming months on some of the set-top boxes. It doesn't say which but its safe to assume it'll be the upc branded ones. In brief, the guide will display as an overlay on the tv channel so you can still see the channel while looking at the guide. 10 channels will display in the grid with up to 120mins programme info available. Looking closely at the photos, there seems to be some interactive function e.g. red button search function and the photos show Irish listings (TV3; TG4) so it is relevant to the Irish market.

Not ten mini screens but ten lines of channel info instead of the current six.

The Cablelink channel wasn't an EPG.

hopefully you'll be able to flick through the days listings in the mini bar like sky, not just now and next

So long as it improves the speed and responsiveness of the EPG compared to the current mess Ill be happy.
