    Hi,
I've read that tomato juice is very good for you, same for pomengrate juice (and others).
However in any store they're made from concentrate, you can't seem to get 100% pure and not concentrated (unlike orange juice, Innocent Smoothies etc).
    1. Are they still good for you? A lot of people say don't buy juices if they're concentrated.
    2. Are they concentrated because if it was 100% pure it'd be too thick?
    Cheers,
    Pa.

In the area of food research, no nutrient has received more attention in recent years than lycopene, an antioxidant found in tomatoes. This carotenoid has been firmly linked to the prevention of certain cancers in men, most notably colon and prostate cancer. Wait, though -- it gets even better than that. When tomatoes are teamed with broccoli, an additional protective effect is produced, making this duo one of the most potent prostate-cancer-fighting foods recognized by science.

The concentrate will more than likely have been pasteurised at some stage to preserve it. That will destroy some of the nutrients for sure, but make some of the nutrients more available, such as lycopene in tomatoes, however you can't use many of the more potent anti-oxidants in vegetables unless you accompany them with a fat as many of them are fat-soluble. So if you're just drinking straight tomato juice your missing out on most of the nutrients.

IMO, with a few exceptions, it's always better to eat the food than drink the juice.

    Hope that helps!
