    Hi,
So after switching to my Vodafone sim on the Desire, some websites bring up quite an intrusive menu on the screen including my own website VanTasks.ie. Is there any way to get rid of this? It seemed to just appear out of nowhere.

Also the coverage has been really terrible lately, it gets worse when I go inside, I'm in Dun Laoghaire and calls kept breaking up and the phone kept getting "no service" throughout the day. Vodafone said there was a problem with one of the masts close to Dun Laoghaire and to choose 2G only (which I guess is choosing GPRS only and not the MDSPA oone or whatever it is?). I chose GPRS only and it didin't really improve it at all.

Has anyone experienced either of these issues?

    any feedback appreciated :)

I think you can get rid of the banner by removing the proxy setting if it's the same poxy red vodafone one i had

Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Vodafone Live >

click proxy and delete whatever's there (make a note of it in case) . Worked a treat for me and also made network apps more reliable

Ok, I didn't change anything but it seems to be gone now
