where to shoot deer

    so im wondering where to shoot deer. is it best to shoot hehind the sholder into the lungs. but i know people that says its best to shoot them in the head. which is best

    That convo was answered on a separate thread last sat, can't find it, shot placement on deer. If you have the ability to take a safe clean shot, the head neck or spine is good.

    If you have a tricky shot the heart lung is good.

    It all depends on user ability, rifle ability, round ability and Range and Visibility!:D

    a lot of it has to do with ability, confidence, range and round, all of this comes into play. i know you are fairly new to this forum so i assume you are probably new to shooting to please correct me if i'm wrong

    i prefer to go for head/neck shots as they work well for me but not everyone would agree.

    the important thing is to know your rifle and its poi at various ranges.
