Paypal don't use Yahoo for their email accounts.

This is the standard phishing form I get sent on a regular basis from various yahoo and hotmail and gmail accounts.

the big difference between this and the norm, and probably the reason it didn't get junk foldered is, the phishers have finally figured out how to use a grammer and spellchecker

This is definite BS, as it could well have ended up unintentionally ignored, or in spam etc. If anybody, bank, paypal etc really want to contact you about something important they will, and it will not usually be by email, it would be by phone, letter or when you log onto their site.

It is very simple to discover if these are scams or not, simply log onto paypal or whatever site, BUT NEVER click a link to the site from the dodgy email. If you log into paypal it will have warnings there and then.

Also just cut & paste one section of the email into google and use quotes, this is the result I got.

You should notify paypal as well. Other hapless people, not so savvy with the net, may be falling prey to it!
