What is your own personal best of a post?

What would be your own, not any other posters. But your own personal best post. Can come from anywhere on the forum.

I picked this one as I feel it relates to a retaliative number of other poster out there, I am not the best at spelling and I type extremely fast and tend not to proof read my posts for grammar or spelling.

Although I do have a good few in the Net & Comms forum, I picked the one above as it relates to me and how I feel, and shows others not to be afraid to pick up the keyboard and have a go at posting or starting a thread!

I made a post about how the Angelus was the funniest thing RTE have ever made because it seemed like people were looking up towards the sky waiting for god to cum on their faces.. a fortnight later there was a new Angelus.. coincidence maybe, but still

Had a guy hijack a thread at the weekend that really quickly devolved into his racist spoutings & attempts at pulling up proof to support it so I challenged him.

Needless to say I never got a reply to any of his claims nor to the evidence against his sh*t...

    Probably this one.

I was gonna pick a hugely funny one that makes me smile everytime, but I thought this was more worthy.

My personal best was probably something smart arsey and stupid that annoyed a lot of people.

Feel free to go through my post history and nominate something.

    This one.

Actually you're not as annoying as you think you are. I stuck a regularish poster on ignore only today for constantly being a moany, depressing, arrogant idiot. My existence on Boards is much better without his crap.

The one where I started a thread, the purpose of which, figuratively speaking, was to kiss my own arse.

I can't remember many posts I make, but I sometimes post crude drawings that I do. I like those.

This one. Probably the only semi-decent post I ever made.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,178 ✭✭✭✭NothingMan

Pretty much just 1700 odd posts of mindless drivel and bad puns with the occassional snippet of sarcasm. The usual really.

    That was a classic.

Sad thing is I actually thought of that post this week when I passed one of those yokes and started laughing to myself. I need to get out more.

Suppose I will have to post up this :pac:

Not my most thanked post, or personal best that I can think of, but it was teh easiest to access for the purpose of this thread. Plus it took a bit of work.

Yea that was hilarious the first time it was posted a few years ao.:p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,184 ✭✭✭✭Pighead

Pigheads personal best was probably the post where he became the first person in the world to break the "John Higgins is a cheat" story. Wasn't easy to do as Higgins is a good friend but in the end Pighead's love for the sport of snooker and his quest to make the world a better fairer place won through.

Now Im confused, if we like a post on this thread do we thank it on this thread or do we thank the post that was linked on the original thread

    or do we thank both?

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Music Moderators, Politics Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 22,360 CMod ✭✭✭✭Dravokivich

hmmm indeed... thank a post about a post or thank a post the post refers too...

If 1 was to "thank a post about a post," i s'pose it'd be a shallow thanks really... but in the case of IBC, practically everyone had thanked the post she referred to already...
