    Hey there,

I have 4-5 years Java development experience from 2001-05/06. I didn't do much J2EE development in this time.

Anyway, I'm going to be doing course with work for a day to discuss the differences between 1.4-1.5 and 1.5-1.6, and I'd like to brush up on my Java seeing as it's been a few years.

Can one of you please recommend a book for me? Should I just pick up a book on 1.6 and go from there?

    Thanks.
    :)

Effective Java is probably the best Java book out there, every Java developer should have a copy.
