Right the story goes like this, i went to re-shim the gearbox in my aug and found out the cylinder had been drilled, so i need a replacement. I want to have it before I open the mechbox so I'm not really pushed on what one i get. if anyone has an old one from a an upgrade that'll do fine ... meet in Dublin city preferably.

You will also need a new main spring
If the spring was sub 1Joule then there would have been no need to drill the cylinder
Also I would suggest that the piston head will need replacing as the drilling will have created burrs on the inside of the cylinder that will probally have damaged both the piston O-ring and piston head

    Hey Drachnien,
I've a cylinder here if you want it, yours for the measly price of a fiver.
Can meet you in Dublin City Centre on Sunday or sometime next week if that's any good?
    Cheers,
    Ger.

thanks for the info, I have a spare spring for it and to be honest i''m expecting to have to replace the piston head (and possibly the piston too) but i'll work that out once I've cracked it.

Lefty, I'll take you up on that offer, I can meet you on Sunday. To PM ?
