    This could have a disastrous affect on revenue for Irish rugby and in turn less money going to the provinces.This will snowball and our better players will go offshore to where there is not as much constraints on there paycheck.
    Your proposal is a novel one but as a Connacht supporter where we look like we are about to turn a significant corner our wings will be clipped & when the IRFU are short on revenue the constantly look west!
    Downward spiral I envisage!
    This has to be weighed up and when all the aspects are aligned it will be clearly seen that it will have a negative effect in the short and long term for Irish Rugby.
    In effect we will have free to air Heineken cup,but with possibly one or even no Irish team within.
    Please research this proposal entirely.
