General waiting times??

    Just wondering if anyone here would have an idea as to the waiting time for a child (8) to have an inguinal hernia repair in Galway???:)

    not being smart, but it totally depends on bed capacity of the hospital, urgency, urgency of others also on waiting list etc etc etc


    best bet is to ring the ocnsultants secretary and ask

    Waiting times for kids are always minimised as much as possible - hopefully not too long.

    Was told he would receive an appointment anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months so will just have to wait I suppose.
    He has no pain so will just have to keep an eye on it for any complications and do the wait!
