can i take protection off window

    can i take protection off the new windows (on outside) when the plasters are finished. . .

    they have just started the nap finish. . and will be almost finished the house by the weekend. . . .

    can i immediately start cleaning on the outside and take the protection off. . . scaf coming down also next week. .

    Are you going to paint the finish on the outside, it will be very handy to leave the plastic protective strip on if you are painting the reveals. You won't need to cut the paint into the window...After you've painted then strip it...

    don't leave it on too long. it tends to stick to the frame and can be a nightmare to remove if left too long. when removing if reveals have been plastered, you must score down the reveal edge with a stanley to cut any tape thats behind the plaster or you'll give yourself some hard work.
