BRIAN COWAN - THE IRISH GORDON BROWN

I just watched Cowan our so called Prime Minister or Taoiseach commenting on the closure of the Head shops on the RTE 9 o clock news and, to be honest, I am embarrassed for him. He was almost un-understandable.

It is probably unfair on Gordon Brown to make the comparison as Brown comes across better, though not as well as Cameron. Also, Brown has been prepared to accept responsibility for his actions which Cowan and his predecessor Ahern would never do.

Cowan is sleep walking through the job and only appears when there is some good news (if any) to give or when he cannot avoid the spotlight any longer.

Last week Enda Kenny asked a reasonable question as to whether we would get the money we had to borrow to help bail out Greece. Cowan stuttered and stumbled through an unintelligible reply that meant nothing, it is was repeated on the Business programme on the radio and is worth listening to realise what a worthless guy we have in charge. He was a bit of a rothweiler when in opposition or debating but has been proven to be spineless as Finance Minister and Taoiseach.
