Wife's Ex-Partnership

    Hi all,

Hope you can help. My wife just got a call from her ex business partner saying the accountant (retained after my wife left the partnership) wants MY PPS number & P60 !

We did everything by the book when they set up the partnership and followed Revenue to the letter over her moving on from it (over a year now).

Each of them were self-accounted with a shared joint declaration which was filled out the last two years, never once requiring my details.

I've asked the accountant to call me to discuss but I'm not inclined to be handing over any such details given that Mrs FBP is gone well over a year and according to revenue there are no outstanding forms or declarations required and she's all up to date and outta there ?

I'm a little suspicious as to why the accountant wants my details now of all times (given the ex-partner was rather lax/extremely slow in her side of the accounting)...

Do I have to give them ? If so, why would they possibly need MY details when I've not had anything to do with the partnership in any form and never been asked from revenue to declare my income or details ?

    Thanks in advance..
