So, i've just been forwarded this picture in an email.

I don't know whether it's shopped or not, but if true the people behind it are fairly upset about something.

Where do you stand with regard to this sort of thing, do you agree with open public displays of complaint such as this one, or, in your view, are there other more effective alternatives?.

Isnt hiring a crane to hang a poster telling us what we already know a waste of time and money.

Its not as if this is going to solve anything

I'm sure the crane hire company appreciate the business

    grammar nazi mode..

You know, if they were going to create a massive banner to display in front of what I assume to be a very prominent bank in an attempt to raise morale and incentive to take action against a completely corrupt, ignorant government.. you'd figure they'd at least get their very basic grammar right.

Best foot forward my arse. :P

    /grammar nazi mode.

Anyway, hey, I support 'em. Don't know what else I can say on the topic tbh.

Though calling the public "heroes" is a bit.. much, considering that the public elected the government in the first place.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, they even got heroes wrong. /facepalm.

Yes a grammaticly incorrect and poorly spelt banner will solve all our country's problems.

This thread is going to be fun... :D

I say good work to whoever did it... although it does not mention the developers on there so maybe its a disgruntled one who has used his crane to put it up (Edit: taxpayer likely paying the loan on the crane).

You'd think after going to all that trouble they'd get someone to do a basic spell check on their banner.

EDIT: Beaten to it by everyone!

DOUBLE EDIT: Anyone know who's behind it?

Meh. I'd prefer a good old fashioned riot.

He doesn't like Pat McHugh (Anglo Galway), whoever he is.

I wonder if this is the work by the same lad who abandoned a Cement Lorry outside Anglo Galway a couple of months ago.

We're the heroes? It had nothing to do with Irish people's greed and living beyond their means? Oh alright - woooop :D

    ps. "heros" - sorry

Must be a disgruntled developer... bad spelling and grammer gives it all away:D Remember all those glossy brochures that they used to put together for their developments; always riddled with bad spelling and grammer.

Yes they spelled it Heros - lets all point and laugh while congratulating ourselves at our superiority in noticing it.

I could care less how they spelled it but would have thought it was intentional.

Anyway - dont know if it's shopped, I think most people have felt that kind of impotent rage at this govt at some point or another. This just looks like one expression of that.

Hmm could this be related to that public sector organised march today ? I see Congress is on the hit list.

Wouldn't suprise me if it was Sinn Féin or Éirigi or one of the other gombeens.

Even with the spelling mistakes I think it's a good job whoever did it.

    Anglo Galway is mentioned....
