Research Study on Canadian V's Irish Health Services

I'm trying to do some research for a very important project for college on the advantages and disadvantages of the Canadian health System v's the Irish health system !! I'm doing 3rd year Nursing in Canada, but I'm an irish citizen, so I'm kind of out of touch with whats going on in the Irish health Service !!
I've found lots of information on the internet about the Canadain v's the US health system, but nothing on the Canadian v's the Irish health systerms !! So can anyone either point me in the right direction as to where I would find this exact information, or else answer my question to the best of their knowledge, that I've just posted directly ?? Please do NOT Post NO SMART ASS COMMENTS !! This has to be Factual Research & NOT an opinionated comparasion !! I know that the Irish health Service is in bad shape, but I sill have to show my leacturers how, where & why !! Thanks in advance !!

Hi TMoran. I'm doing my research on health and primary care, looking specifically at Canada and Ireland. I'd suggest contacting the Health Promotion Unit in NUIG for anything that might help: http://www.nuigalway.ie/student_services/health_promotion/
They'll point you in thr right direction towards nursing etc.

Also look at our national Health Service Executive website:

And a simple google search turns this up (namely third one down) so I would keep pressing on with using search engines if I were you:
