Question re Freeview and Sky +

    Hi

I'm looking to save a few quid and am thinking of cancelling my Sky subscription. I also have Sky + and would love to keep this facility (or a similar PVR facility). On Satellite.ie and Freesat.ie they say that you need to buy a box from them to access the free channels but I've read elsewhere that as long as you have the Sky equipement (dish, box etc) that the channels just come through without the need for an extra box/expense. If this is the case, can I just buy a PVR box as opposed to a combined receiver and PVR box. That's all probably as clear as mud, so apologies!!
