Broadband speed UPC

    I got in broadband package from NTL. Very slow loading videos but when I checked download speed it said it was over 20 mb/sec. I still have my old supplier broadband active and when I try loading video from the net on that it loads quicker than NTL yet when I check the speed its only 3mb/sec. Any reason why NTL should still load so slowly when it appears to be downloading. I have a Macbook Pro Intel core duo.

    I cant say its something Ive noticed with UPC. I have their 15MB broadband and its very fast to load YouTube videos, even HD ones.

    Streaming in general is excellent with them; I subscribe to mlb.tv which I stream thru my PS3 in 720p and I never have an issue with it.

    What I can't understand is the fact it says its downloading quick but won't load quick on my laptop. Very strange.
