books from Amazon.com-how long does it take

hey all!

ordered 1 book and 1 mag from amazon.com today. have never done so before so im just wondering how long does it take for delivery

You should have ordered from Amazon.co.uk, you would have had them by Friday. Don't know about Amazon.com as they're shipping from the U.S.

How much was postage?

errmm cant remember now off the top of my head but i do know the postage cost me more than the book and the mag!

Like yourself, I found out the hard way that i should have been ordering from www.amazon.co.uk

The postage from the US is way more expensive. Amazon.co.uk now offer Irish customers free postage for orders over €25. However, the goods must all be delivered to one address. It's well worth buying a few purchases (as if we needed an excuse to buy more books!) and make up to the total of €25.

I've used amazon.co.uk a lot lately and they have been pretty efficient and are usually cheaper than the Irish stores. It usually takes about a week or two at the most.

From .co.uk, I've never waited longer than 2-3 days. From .com, it could be quite a bit longer. Maybe even 2 weeks.
