Restoring track from ipod to itunes?

    Hi folks,
    I (stupidly :mad:) managed to delete a heck-load of itunes while backing them up to an external disk.

    Some of the tracks are still on my ipod (classic, 20gig, 2005 version).

    I wonder if there's any way of restoring them from the ipod back to my itunes software?

    I'd be mega-grateful for any info that would help!! :-)

    sharepod is a free program that can copy the tracks offf the ipod to a pc

    Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction...managed to save lots of tunes I thought were gone 4 good, whoo hoo!:D
