Seem to be very on-trend these days. What's the verdict? I know they wont work miracles but from what I've read, they seem like a big improvement on an untreated room. Thomann have this bundle:

Looks like pretty good value. I'm just curious as to to what the various price increases reflect: better mesh and foam?

    What do you boys reckon?

The cheap ones absorb HF so you end up with nasty reflected mids instead.

Sweet! Like position 2 on a Stratocaster! Btw, not sure if you read my other post about my tracking environment, might put things in a better perspective.

We use the full SE Reflexion Filter (not the newer cheaper SE or any of the Thomann stuff - can't comment on those).

We found they definitely improve the vox sound when used/positioned correctly. There’s 3 of us & we all have home set ups. The vox sound is consistent from all 3 rooms. None of our rooms are professionally treated. Any of the tracks I've posted have been done use the RF.

Still, some people love 'em, some people hate 'em. There's been a few threads in the past... check out these 2…

Problem is whats happening around it....

If you stick that there, it will help the front but then all the reflections from ceiling rear walls etc... which you prob wont hear that much in your speakers unless they're top notch but when you stick headphones on you really can hear the probs.... :)

So the main concern is controlling the reflections that are still happening elsewhere :D
