    Mod Warning

Right here we go again. Another big inter-pro in prospect and as usual the normal rules apply.

    * Do not engage in inter-provincial tribalism of ANY sort.
    * Do not abuse players/coaches/refs.
    * Do not abuse each other.
    * Do not be a dick
    * Use the report function and ignore any deliberately inflammatory posts/general muppetry.

Zero tolerance will apply for eejitry/muppetry of any sort on this thread. As usual we would ask regular forum users to
ignore casual trolling and to help out mods by reporting, and not responding, to muppetry.

Enjoy the game and may the best team win.

    Rugby Mods.
I'm getting tired of the LvM rubbish on here. Zero tolerance is in effect from now on. Anyone who abuses players or engages in tribalism is getting a straight one week ban. You have been warned.

    Apologies mods. :o

I cannot wait for this! :D

As a supporter, I'd love it if it was held at Croker but I'm sure the LB will prefer the RDS.

Both sides have a number of injury concerns (particularly Leinster after today) so it should be interesting to see who pulls through.

I've an exam from 6 - 8pm that day so looks like I'm gonna miss a lot of it  And the worst thing is the exam is in the RDS!

EDIT: Match is on at 8pm so looks like I'll be leaving the exam early and strolling into the stadium :)

The IRFU may flex their muscles if GAA HQ is available for hire.

As Franno said, you'd get at least 40,000 at Croker for it.

Im pretty sure its just up to the province - If Leinster win though it'll defo be on in Croker

    I love you.

Scored two there and I thought I would have no chance. The spambot message was 'trimble opponent'!

It'd only make sense financially if you were assured of a Leinster win and a huge crowd. Playing the game in Croke Park increases the chance of Munster winning which takes the final out of Ireland. It would be a totally brainless move to attempt to get it played in Croke Park.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,327 ✭✭✭Profiler

Got myself two tickets there :D

Wore out the F5 refresh button to get it, but well worth it :D:D

I agree, I think Leinster would be mad to move it, not that I think having it in Croke Park would help us.

Is it just me or is this batch gone already?

Just got another two tickets after I created another account for my second card. €30 for south stand, fair price.

After reading your post I can see why it's at RDS alright.

If the LB can extend the RDS (a la Clermont match) at such short notice, they should.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,288 ✭✭✭crisco10

    I got 2.

Also got my ST for next week. I had a though after I bought the 2 extras, surely they aren't going to add the two transactions together now and say I have exceeded my allocation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 162 ✭✭dr_funkenstein

It's definitely in the RDS, where it should be. I'm a bit sick of rugby in croke park now. You're too far away from the pitch and the atmosphere in there isn't great a times (for rugby). It's not quite the re-match of last years semi after the dismal weekend last week.

18k for Leinster Munster. 12.5k Season ticket holders. I would expect it to TBH.

Both teams are going backwards at the moment with injuries and form.

Lets see who lurches over the line.

Great outcome for the league -all 3 countries represented, loads of big names for all 4 teams. A massive irish derby game next week.
3 HEC quarter finalists among the 4. Thrilling finish.
    Couldn't have worked out better.

Thanks for this. I would not have known.. Never been to a game before and happen to be back in Ireland this weekend and picked up a couple of tickets. Looking forward to it!

Also, be careful if you leave your seats at half time. They are not guaranteed to be there when you get back.

I will be eagerly awaiting the team sheets to be announced during the week. Good news if sexton makes it.

Will he though? The more times go by, the more its fairly obvious Sexton was never going to play in Toulouse.

    What happened to Berne today?

The seats will be there but someone else might be sitting on them :D

Will this be Leinster's 2nd time beating Munster in a S/F or will Munster make it 3 out of 4?

I missed the tickets on TM so hopefullyMRSC comes up thrumps.

I saw that Leo and Cian left the field early are they an injury worry?

Ciano looked like he just got a savage shoeing or something. He looked dazed and then blood was poring down his thigh. hard to tell what it was but it looked like just an impact injury so he should be fine.

Didn't see what was up with Cullen.

From what I've been told, D'arcy is the biggest worry from today, but noone has been ruled out.

Fingers crossed we get a full team... Ideally, in my mind, it would look something like:

    1. Healy
    2. Fogarty
    3. Wright
    4. Cullen
    5. Hines
    6. McLaughlin
    7. Jennings (he's scheduled to be fit right?)
    8. Heaslip

    9. Reddan (disappointed today. Such a headless chicken)
    10. Sexton
    11. Nacewa
    12. D'Arcy
    13. BOD
    14. Horgan
    15. Kearney

    16. Strauss
    17. Ross
    18. MOK
    19. SOB
    20. POD
    21. McFadden
    22. Dempsey

If all things go to plan! Could be missing 3 or 4 of them though.

That was strange, they brought over two different types of stretcher... so I thought it was very serious... Next thing he hops up and walks off without even a limp?

    Hope he's alright.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,939 ✭✭✭mikedragon32

Looks like he went down awkwardly on his anlke then the ruck spilled over onto his shoulder while he was on the deck. It looked a bit odd that the physio was treating his leg while he was lying onthe pitch holding his shoulder. Even when he came off he was still holding it.

Hopefully not a concern for next week. Ticket already sorted but supposed to be going to school reunion that night... Decisions decisions.

Looked like his left shoulder from where I was in the North Stand. He was in a lot of pain when they tried to move him.

Ticket info for the Munster fans:

    http://munsterrugby.ie/news/7528.php

Munster are entitled to a 25% ticket allocation, doesn't look like any will be going on public sale.

3 consecutive Irish ML wins would be some achievement.

IMO the winner of this match would beat Ospreys/Glasgow in the final.

Ospreys would have to mess it up spectacularly against Glasgow to not win, and anyone who writes off the Ospreys in a final does so at their peril.

That being said I would agree the winner of the Leinster V Munster game would be favorites but for me it depends on how much the winner has left.

Both sides, as we all know, will give it 100% to try and beat one another and both carry walking wounded into the game, so who ever comes out on top will need all their top players if they are going to win.

Either way I'm looking forward to it :D
