small wedding in august

    Hi all,
    We have decided to get married (registry office) late August. We want a small wedding reception of 25-30 people in West Cork.

    Has anyone any suggestions for a suitable reception venue: hotel, country house, resraurant...?

    I am having my wedding in the Rectory in Glandore. It might be the type of place you are looking for, its a beautiful location overlooking the water.

    The Rectory in Glandore is very nice. I was at a wedding there last summer and was impressed. Manager was very helpful and the food was excellent. It could be perfect for a small wedding, a bit tight for a bigger one though. It can be spectacular if you get the weather :)
