Hi all.if anyone has any photos of 152s/172s could they post them here.just for something different!!

Wow poor old EI CAA looks a little worse for wear !

That German is doing some interesting flying ( unless it's an optical illusion )

I should have put some more information with pics!

EI-CAA is ex IONA Airways (I think!) which was the first commercial airline in Ireland. Lots of interesting aircraft corpses hiding in Abbeyshrule EIAB.

Its no optical illusion. The "German" is flat out at approx 20 ft altitude along Faro's main runway.
A lot of training schools seem to use Faro for this type of stuff.

Far from an optical illusion its a Cessna 210L Centurion II, one of the Cessna's that has retractible gear.

Ta Steyr, I thought David was referring to the altitude! The Cessna's do look a bit odd bombin along with the gear up.:D

Hey guys,firstly a big thanks to everyone who posted up photos,i never expected that response!! From Castlebar myself,i grew up around Cessna's,Pipers,Rallye's etc,most noteably EI-ATK,EI-BKF,EI-BIE,EI-AVM,EI-BDK.Sadly no airport here since 2001,Knock been the closest now.

I was indeed referring to the altitude , if my old CFI saw that he would skin you alive !

Lovely shots Andrew.EI-BMN is a great machine,she was in Sligo for a while.EMU and EDB looking very smart.
