Does golf psychology help much? Do many people use / practice it?
Where / how would you recommend I get into it?
    Thank you.

i have read all of Bob Rotella books and they defo help, esp 'Golf is not a game of Perfect,'but apart from that golf psychology to me is thinking positively, have the shot in your head and most importantly stay in the moment

Yep, golf is not a game of perfect is a brilliant book. Actually, this reminded me it's time for a re-read.

my advice is buy the audiobooks,

the rotella set were available previously from easons in cd for about €25, stick em onto your ipod, phone or whatever and listen to the when driving or out for a stroll, often throw one on when going for a spin at work if the radio is crap

have the books too but just found this an easy way to digest the books as I found some parts of the books tedious......
i must admit to not being an avid reader, but the audiobooks are a lot more concise and more to the point

Got a couple of his books which were good alright... but also have his audio book on putting.... has some great ideas on how to focus properly before and during a putt... listen to it in the car on the way to the course. found it a huge help... an eye opener on where your mind should be.... so much so i dont recommend it to anyone!

    avoid at all costs!
