http://www.custompc.ie/ I'm lookingto get a few parts and noticed they have them in stock and can collect. If anyone has used them can you let me know how you all got on with them? Prices seem a bit high but I dont mind that for the fack can collect.

If dont find anyone that has checked them out am going to see can I drop in and pay over a counter for the items cash/c.card. As dont want to try them if know one else has used them that I know.

Just a little update, Spoke to them today and they informed me they only stock about 20% of there items in there irish warehouse, the rest gets sent over from there german/uk warehouses. They stated they use the same warehouses as komplett. Was hoping to drop in and pick it up.

I bought a tt level 10 case off them 2 weeks ago and they had it delivered in a week. Took more then 2 days but it did come,

We stock about 20% of the product database here at our warehouse in Ireland with the remainder shipped from our partners warehouses in the UK & Germany for 1-2 Day Delivery in Ireland . Many products ordered before 3.30PM are available for delivery next day ( TechDirect.ie ).

We know we are not the biggest company out there but we endeavour to provide high quality products at competitive prices to our customers. Since our inception we have provided Custom Gaming System to Customers in The UK & Northern Ireland , Germany , France , Italy & of course Ireland. We offer a 30 Day Collect & Return Policy for DOA Issues with our Custom PCs which shows our confidence in our products & procedures.

If anybody would like to ask any more questions we will endeavour to answer their requests .

Our apologies for the delay with the BMW case but the item had to be shipped on its own as it weighted almost 25KG and needed to be shipped
to us on a pallet . Not an excuse but we will put a notice on the case type on our site as we cannot deliver this part under our normal delivery time.

We we stock about 20% of the products listed in our Irish warehouse but as our website states we specialise in building CustomPCs and the parts store has been added at the request of our customers. Which means it is not our main priority but we give every order 100% regardless.

Regards the Komplett warehouse statement , yes it is true that most companies now ship from the same warehouses/distributors this is done
to give more options and better pricing . Products listed on our CustomPC.ie site are generally sourced from specialist Supplers/distributors and products on our TechDirect.ie Site from Virtual Logistic Suppliers hence the Datafeed on our Techdirect.ie website.

Regardless of this products ordered from our Techdirect.ie website are generally delivered next day and parts ordered from our CustomPC.ie site within 1-3 days depending on whether the item is a Special Order Item.

With the 20% of stock on site, is it not possible to have something on your site that lets us know which items are in stock in Ireland as i'd always prefer to pick up same day and would make me and am sure alot of others interested in picking stuff up. As at the moment I would just go with elara and wait the 1-2days as they are closer to me and I know the brand. Cool looking site by the way though.

Thank You . In truth we dont really cater for customers looking to collect * . We do allow this but as you said why come to collect from us when other companies are closer . We offer nationwide delivery for a competive price of only €9.99 per order and almost all of our customers select this option . To Allow Collection for more than a few percent of our customers would add to the cost of the products. We are looking into offering free delivery once the basket is over a certain amount in the near future.

Regards showing which items are ex Ireland Warehouse and Ex UK Warehouse . There is now way for us to distinguish . But we will look into this for a future upgrade. Offering the amount of products we do means it would be totally impossible to stock every item listed . Large Etailers such as Ebuyer.co.uk , Amazon Etc Stock very little of the products they sell if any . The products are at distribution locations were stock can be allocated when orders need to be filled. This is why when you surf multiple sites you will often see the stock levels the same between companies in competition to each other. With Elara the stock situation is the same they dont stock anything which is their business model , I would have to say that Elara do a very good job and even from time to time we buy from Elara .

I know a bit off topic but when is the komplett site going to be fixed as its a pain looking for items on it now without sub categories? Also will accounts be recovered at all of are customers forced to set up new ones? Was my favourite site until all the messing about.

Examples of Parts Stocked in Ireland Laptops / printers / monitors / networking products / chargers / batteries / server memory / Etc

To Offer the amount of products on our sites it would be impossible to hold all of this stock in Ireland . As other Etailers we ship into Ireland when we have the orders or the need for the stock .

We would consider ourselves to have higher stock levels than most etailers but obviously to offer the best pricing and stock availability we partner ourselves with larger operations in Europe who hold massive stocks on behalf of manufacturers. This however still allows us to ship next day on all products on our TechDirect.ie Site and for smaller items on our CustomPC.ie Site. This also allows us to update the £/€ & US Dollar rates on our TechDirect.ie Website every 4 Minutes which gives the customer the best price on the day.

Again we would highly reccomend Komplett as a specialist supplier as their
knowledge and product base for Ireland is excellent.
